Dr. Saavedra was born in Kingsville, Texas and moved to the Texas Hill Country to attend Texas State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He later went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville, Kentucky. He completed his externship training at Abell Eyes Refractive Solutions in Lexington, Kentucky, the Jack C
Montgomery VA Medical center in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Healthcare system in Harlingen, Texas. He has helped many veterans and patients achieve their best corrected visual acuity, manage ocular disease, and guide pre and post operative surgical care.
Dr. Saavedra specializes in complex refractions, soft contact lens fittings, co management of pre and post operative surgical care including LASIK and cataract surgery, glaucoma, dry eye, and ocular disease.
In his free time, Dr. Saavedra likes to watch movies, play Fortnite, chess, practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and spend time with his wife, Sandy, and German shepard, Ava.

Dr. Soltys was raised in Fairview Heights, a small town in Southern Illinois. Growing up he was an accomplished athlete playing both varsity baseball and soccer in High School. He went on to attend the University of Southern Illinois where he earned top honors while attaining his degree in Biology with Medical Specialization. After graduating, he attended the University of Missouri School of Optometry where he completed 5 clinical externships, including 2 in the Air Force. He graduated with Honors in 1992 with his Doctorate in Optometry and also became a member of the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Society. He has practiced Optometry in Central Texas since 1992 with a focus on patient-centric primary care and currently resides in Driftwood, Texas with his German Shorthaired Pointer Bella. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, playing golf and digging for arrowheads.

Dr. Timothy Wright grew up in Iowa, but moved to Texas as fast as he could. In 1982, he graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University in Construction Engineering. He moved to Dallas, Texas and after a few years of working in construction, he decided to return to school. He earned Class Valedictorian honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1991.
Dr. Wright has special interest and expertise in contact lens fittings, LASIK preoperative care, and management of ocular disease diagnosis and treatment. He has a strong following of patients who appreciate his listening and accurate prescribing skills. When not in the office he enjoys riding his scooter, hosting Airbnb guests, and crafting wood and steel projects.
